This is Bella and Timmy. These are the first cats we had and we had them from kittens. They will be 10 years old on February 8th!
Timmy likes to run in the wind and play with toys that have feathers on. He considers himself the alpha male and gets grumpy around the younger cats. However, he teaches them some of the life skills they need and tells them off without hurting them giving them a gentle tap on the head if they go to far.Bella is a big baby, she likes to cuddle up and dribble all over you. She enjoys a good box and loves to bat balls and toy mice around. She doesn't like to share her space (or me) with any other cat and will often see of unwanted cats in the garden and even have ago at her brother, Timmy. She has a terrifying growl which is combined with a hiss that sees of anyone she doesn't like. Shes terrified of carrier bags and doesn't like loud noises.
This is Tinkerbell. We guess shes around 2 years old. Tink invited herself into our home letting herself in through the cat flap when it was raining and snowing last winter. Since then shes a regular visitor and in fact these days rarely leaves the house. She spends most of her time upside down like this, and likes her belly being rubbed. Shes still very kitteny and playful and often wakes us up at ungodly hours charging around the hallway with the loudest toy she can find.Unfortunately most of her kitten life was spent outside and she hasn't learnt house rules, she scratches the furniture and stair carpet and jumps on to tables and shelves. Tinkerbell is a working progress and we're trying to get her out of these bad habits, already shes learnt her rank in the cat family and no longer tries to come first during feeding time, she will now wait until her bowl is placed down. Despite her bad habits shes a very loving cat and has the loudest purr I've ever heard!!! She enjoys being under the duvet where its warm and cosy.
This is Tippy Toes, Otherwise known as Tippy, Tippler or Tippling Fish. He is 7 months old and very much a kitten! We were fostering him from my work (Goddard's) until he found his forever home, our home! It hadn't been our intention to keep him as we have fostered loads of kittens previous to him and never kept any. However, as it was so close to Christmas people were to busy to think about giving a home to a kitten and after we had had him for a few months we all fell in love with him and didn't have the heart to uproot him again. He fits in well with cat life in my household and although he often gets hit on the head by the older ones hes learning quickly and finding his place in the hierarchy.
He can let of steam with Tinkerbell as she is the youngest and is kitteny herself, they often run up and down the hallway and stairs chasing each other. Its quite a racket when they're really hyper! Unusually Tippy's favourite thing is a carrier bag! He also loves sweet wrappers, which he will hear you open no matter where he is in the house and come running. We then have to toss it across the room for him to chase. We find them all over the house as he takes them everywhere with him. Like Timmy, he likes toys with feathers on too.
